Thera

This Wiki is incomplete and information will be constantly updated.
This Wiki contains spoilers for the Knights of Earth Series and History of Ilmgral series!! You have been warned.

Attributes

Thera controls all the waters of the universe, from the smallest rain drop to the largest ocean. All sea creatures answer to him and he is most in love with Besan Gretan. He is most fond of Earth and has had more human vassals upon Earth than any other of the Holy Quadrant.

He appears almost human, apart from a skin that glimmers like fish scales. His hair is of seaweed and his eyes are a crystal blue.

History

Pre-life

Thera was born from Livella’s tear that she shed during her sacrifice. With Orna’s help, the moons of Ilmgral were made to turn the tides.
Together the Three Gods worked in harmony to create habitable life. Earth was one treasured by Thera and he would retreat here often. It is believed that it is on Earth that Thera always resides, although little evidence of this now remains.

The Council of Gadrika

Brought to Agraldin to find a champion, Thera walked the halls of nurturing and found a group of people who sang a song of the seas. He sang with them and in doing so changed their nurturing. These Ilma became the Thera-ilma, and took up some of his power. One of them touched Thera so deeply that he thought he loved her. He did not take a champion, fearing that only death would come to one. Instead he went to Ilmgral, to await his love to be born upon the world.

Of Camara Thera

On the edges of the Great Continent, Thera came as one of the Ilma to the people there and married the maiden from Agraldin. They had a child, Camara, who held much of Thera’s power. Her mother died and grief stricken, Thera fled to Earth and came to Ilmgral seldom after. He could not contain Camara’s power, and though she served as Thera’s vassal on Ilmgral, she was usually full of anger and hatred.

Of Karomin Thera

During a violent time on the Great Continent, Thera mistook the intents of the Graul hero Karomin. Thinking he was the captain of a ship hauling Thera-ilma as slaves and not rescuer, he appeared as a great monster and sunk the ship, only rescuing his own people. When they tried to save Karomin, he realised his mistake and bestowed his power upon the Graul. Karomin was hallowed by Gadrika and his ship was made ethereal. He sails the southern oceans, carrying out Thera’s will.
