Selosa is strongly built, a trait gained from her connection to metal and earth, along with hours of training. Her features are delicate, with a small nose and gentle smile. Her skin is only kissed with red. Her long brown hair is often tied back during battle.

History

Selosa Aquitex was the oldest child. Her father was lord General of the armies of Cradlin and from an early age Selosa favoured campaigns with her father, rather than play with her mother. Her sister was the opposite but the two got on greatly. Selosa soon became a competent soldier, especially in the use of her powers. She was set to squire for the Lord of Cradlin but at the age of fifteen the city of Cradlin would be caught up in the Graul Rebellion.

The Graul Rebellion.

When the farm workers and labourers of the Graul rebelled in the North, the Ilma were hard pressed to stop them. Still short in number and unaccustomed to their gifts, they were quickly overrun. While Cradlin was under siege, Selosa took up arms and and helped rally and contingent of the Ilma, retaking much of the city. During this time she stopped an attack on a young Graul girl called Sand, who entered into her service.

Due to her bravery Selosa was made an immediate knight of the land and was gifted a small farmstead to the north of Cradlin to grow into a thriving market town.

The Battle of the Crossroads.

Selosa was soon provided with a squire called Bruska Crud, a young land from a middle class family, whose father had paid a healthy fee to get their youngest child towards lord hood. While travelling to her uncles city on the west coast of Cradlin, they beheld an invading force from Krun Melkin, led by Aginor Diactra.

Returning quickly to Cradlin, Selosa rallied her troops and marched with her squire to the crossroads. During the battle, Selosa fought with her cavalry until she was unhorsed. It was her squire that would come to her aid. Victory arrived with support from other soldiers and Selosa and Bruska were present when Aginor was sent back in rags to Krunmelkin.

The Siege of Cradlin

Selosa would soon become lord of Melkamorasuta. During Autumn a vicious blizzard blew in, covering the land in snow and ice. The next day warning bells rang out in the city. Selosa and Bruska rushed to the gate, to find the Lord of Cradlin and his young child, both wounded. Rushing them inside, Selosa learnt that the city of Cradlin had been taken by the Therailma. She rallied a small group of Ilma, who infiltrated the city.

Bruska would go on to lift the siege but the Lord of Cradlin’s wife and oldest son would be slain.

The Burning of Fasurasuta.

The Lord of Cradlin now sort his revenge. He rallied a great army, of which Selosa was appointed the camp clerk. They rode with the army but were forbidden to take part in the battle. From a rise, Selosa and Bruska watched as the Ilma of the army created a great wall of fire, that swept through the city, setting it alight and burning all those inside. Those that fled, found an army of Graul ready to slaughter them.

Horrified, Selosa wept and she walked through the city of the dead and nearly cast herself into the sea. She never forgot this day and a deep hurt went with her forever. After an altercation with the Lord of Cradlin, she left his service and travelled to the Krunilma in Krun Melkin.

The Battle of Tukaanita

Selosa spent time in the great wood in northern Krunmelkin, and there spent time healing. This was not her only mission. She was sent to spy on Anglin and make sure he did not threaten another invasion. While here she witnessed the armies of Krunmelkin set sail. She made a deal with the Lord of Elmlin, who sent his son and their best warriors across the sea, on the promise of a haven in those lands.

Selosa sailed with the Krunilma and graul, landing in Kruntuka. The Krunilma moved the trees and brought their might upon the armies of Anglin, turning the tide in the desperate battle and saving her former squire, as he had done before.

On the Great Continent

While spending time in Tukaanita, a group of refugee Thera-ilma came to the town. They had a mission to regroup with some of the Thera-ilma still present on the great continent, those who now served Karomin. She decided to go with them.

Upon arriving at the great continent, she found the Therailma were nothing more than slaves, joining forces with sympathetic lords, she threw down the clan chief and tried to build a haven for her people but she was betrayed by the new clan chief she raised to the throne and was slain. Her sacrifice for the Thera-ilma, brought about a great rebellion and gained the safety of those people within that small corner of the great continent. It was believed that even Karomin came to witness her funeral.
