Livella is the Goddess of Light, who has her kingdom in the realm of Livinden. To mortals she is the goddess of the stars. Though a wound while within the mortal world, has restricted her powers, she is still worshipped on every world that looks up to the stars.
Livella is described as appearing as one of the Ilma, though she radiates light. Her hair is silver and she is often dressed in green silks. Her right arm is missing just below the shoulder and this she keeps hidden.
History
Livella was formed from the endless power of Livinden and in that realm of light she built for herself a kingdom but loneliness plagued her. Coming to Besan Gretan, she beheld a plain ready for shaping.
Livella pulled from Livinden light and formed nine great stars and many lesser stars that she fashioned into galaxies. At one point she was drawn to Agraldin and there saw for the first time souls that were waiting for a place for birth. There Gadrika told her of the coming of life.
Livella returned to Besan Gretan and knew that she would have to give some of herself for life to come. Plunging her arm deep within her most precious star, she sacrificed part of herself. Her arm now gone to the shoulder, burst the star in pieces. In her anguish her other great stars collapsed and became new things, heavy, that did not give off light. In pain she shed a single tear that lingered within Besan Gretan, In place of her star a new God now emerged, Orna, God of the Earth.
Together Livella and Orna began the fashioning of worlds and solar systems and re-ordered the universe to their new design but the worlds of Orna were barren. Coming to Ilmgral, newly forged, Orna placed her tear within and from that tear, Thera was born. The three Gods of Besan Gretan then worked in harmony to bring about the coming of life. Livella re-ordered the universe to be a tapestry, detailing the future, and from Ilmgral it could be read.
Livella would choose Drage as her champion and would guide him to defeating the monster in the north. Livella would then return to Livinden and watch as the Ilma ever disappointed her.
