Sophie Carter

Name: Sophie Carter. Age: 12-13 Species: Human Halve First Appearance: Knights of Earth Book one: Knowledge Lost.

Appearance: Sophie is slim and innocent of face. Her pale complexion matches her powder blue eyes. Her brown hair is very lightly curled and is parted so that it reveals all of her face. Her whole demeanour screams of frailty which is matched by her modest clothing. Power: Sophie’s power is over water and she is very powerful in her mastery of it.

Back story: Sophie had always been quiet, her personality happily dwarfed by that of her best friend. Only in one area did she excel. From an early age, Sophie had an affinity for water and she quickly showed skill in swimming. In her classes she would meet Thomas Lita. Just after turning eleven, she discovered her power over water. While wishing to be dry, the water lifted off of her in droplets.

Story Excerpt:She landed on the edge of the pool and in a graceful movement, her hands lifted. Muscles strained on her arms as they connected with the pool water. It began to lift and veins in her arms popped at the weight of all that water. Some warriors ran away, others tried to move towards her but they knew their doom was near. The water lifted until the pool was empty and as Sophie’s strength began to ebb, she threw her arms forward. Tom lifted his own hand and added his weight so that the wave crashed past Sophie, turning the first two warriors into statues and then it carried on, moving through the kitchen with frightening speed, destroying every molten warrior it touched. The wave reached towards the kitchen before finally faltering and silence filled the noon day.
