Name: Samuel Lucas Patten Age: Thirteen Species: Human Halve. First Appearance: The Knights of Earth Book 2: The Vengeance of the Gods.	Power: Sam’s power is very rare. It is a mutation of the fire gift. It can be described as Energy Manipulation but at this time it mostly revolves around creating ice. Appearance: Sam is small, with soft and gentle eyes. A cute face and brown curly hair.
Backstory: An unknowing Second generation Halve. Sam’s father could control fire. This gift he passed onto Sam but it mutated. Sam discovered that he could strip objects of energy. Though he often believes that he can just create Ice.	Story Excerpt: Time seemed to slow; the knife reflected the winter sun as it soared through the sky towards her. She saw Sam reach out, the tips of his fingers turning to ice and then the ice seemed to spread across the blade. With a whine, the knife shattered from the intense cold.
