He married young and became an Ambassador to earth twenty years before the events of the Escape from Humanity. | Story Excerpt: As a wave shot across two more, a figure charged passed them. Covered in a black cloak, the figure ran to the edge of the hill and the roar from the warriors below sounded like one thing. Fear. As his arms shot outwards, the ground rumbled and Tom saw the chasm Nicole had created, widen until it formed a perfect circle around the peak, like a moat for their protection. “That should buy us some time.” He said in an accent that did not sound like any Tom had heard. He spoke English well, but it felt like they were hearing other words becoming English in their heads. They all gasped as the figure lowered his hood, but it was Tom whose eyes widened the most. He looked exactly like the figures from his dreams. He was taller than most men, nearly seven foot tall. Golden eyes, the same hew as Tom’s, looked down on them. He was almost completely white skinned, but it was crossed with lines to give the impression of scales. Red scales ran from the corner of his mouth, following his jaw line and ended hooked just above his cheek bones. Long black hair was held back by a band of what looked like leather. He was wearing a shirt, lined with a bright metal that looked like it would never rust. A dragon was sown into the shirt as well. The same one that had been carved onto the black rock. |
