Grignar

Body Type: Canine. 		Description.
Grignar are four legged canine like creatures. They are taller than most domestic dogs and far stronger. Due to their now common use in combat most have neural implants and have enhanced limbs.
Origins.
The Grignar are related to the Grignin, who were roaming packs of wolf like creatures from the early days of Ilmgral. Once one of the Ilma re-skinned among them and took the shape of one of the Grignin. With this change, his powers mutated and he changed the Grignin around him. They suddenly learnt to understand speech and became vastly more intelligent. This led them to become Grignar and they have been used as strike units by both the Ilmgralite’s and the Abgdonese Empires during all of their conflicts.		Abilities.
Most are connected via a neural link to a Grignar commander and a troop leader in the mothership, leading to extremely co-ordinated attacks.
