First Appearance: The Knights of Earth Saga Book two: Vengeance of the Gods. 		Appearance: A short and balding man, with tufts of hair sticking out of his head. He wears large glasses that make his eyes look insect like and a slight stubble always surrounds his cheeks.
Backstory: Born in the Ukraine, Dr Pentka moved to the UK to study bio engineering. A child prodigy, he soon achieved degrees in bio-chemistry and engineering. He was recruited by Tax for a secret branch of the Agency; Halve weapon development and threat evaluation. Leading a team of biologists, physicians, engineers and chemists they secretly developed weapons against future threats (Operation Firebreak). When these threats were realised and the Agency became fully formed, this team worked less in secret to equip the Agency and its Halves to fight for the future. Dr Pentka is personally assigned to the knights of Earth, to test the new breed of Halve fighting equipment, on a group destined to fight in the next great warStory Excerpt:

She gently lifted her arm and Dr Pentka clipped the tube in place before joining the cable from the pressure pad, “This contains pressurised water vapour.” Dr Pentka began, “When Sophie presses the pad, the moisture will be released and will be there for her to use. This allows her to use more of her power while using less of her own personal energy. Once the cartridge is spent, simply press the button on the back of the strap and the cartridge will release.” He gave Sophie a warm smile, “Please show us your power.”
Sophie looked back at Tom, who gave her a confident nod, “Okay.” She giggled before taking a step back from Dr Pentka. She pressed the pad and there was a spurt of spray that suddenly became a ball of water in her hand, “Wow.” She murmured, “I would need to strip the ground to get that much.”
Sophie breathed in and the water absorbed back into her hand. She shuffled uncomfortably, the water gave her a boost, but she suddenly needed to pee.
“Your suit.” Dr Pentka explained, “Is waterproof and designed for swimming. Tax thought you would like that.”
