Story Excerpt:



Daniel and Nicole’s face twisted with the strain of their powers, their knuckles turning white from the pressure. In an explosion of dust both supports crumbled and with a lunge from Lucast it toppled forward, crushing several and pushing others into Tom’s path who released such a charge that all flew backwards from him. Lucast landed nimbly at his side and the pair charged at the now retreating enemy. Nicole and Daniel’s hands were raised in front of them and the abandoned weapon store was slowly swallowed by the earth.
