The Coming of the Vassals

0 AV – A great volcano emerges in the North of Cambane and Drage Livella is born in the southern region of Scaraden.

5 AV – Drage begins to show powers to handle and manipulate fire. He is taken in by the Church of Livella in Scaraden.

7 AV – Camara is born on the coast of the great continent. Daughter of Thera, she has the powers of the sea.

21 AV – Drage causes a commotion when he insults the Lord of the land. Drage is forced to flee northward until he came to the Great Church of Livella in Brinsita.

22 AV – A great winter storm freezes the northern lands solid. The Lord of Cambane dies and his daughter Bela brings him to be given to the sea at Brinsita. Drage thaws the water so the old lord can find peace.

23 AV – Drage marries Bela and becomes the Lord of Cambane. The city is renamed Dragor.

29 AV – Camara’s village is burned by the Graul of the great continent and her husband killed. Camara’s power becomes that of Ice and she leads her people to safety by crossing the great sea. Long was their toil and many were lost upon the way. During a calm moment, Camara sensed beneath the waves the coming of something important. She predicted that below her feet, an island waited to emerge from the depths and become a place of safety for her people.

30 AV – The mountain in the North erupts as the demon that had been growing in its core begins to awaken. Livella comes to Drage, telling him that he must go forth and battle the demon. Drage leaves his wife and kids before travelling North. Drage battles against the demon, destroying it and sending it crashing down to earth, breaking the land apart, the sea swallowing the mountain. The land in the North is changed and Drage dies, becoming the first vassal of the red mountain star.

30 AV – Camara’s people arrive in Cradlin and are given the Northern lands.

68 AV – Crio is born from the earth in the middle lands and raised by the nomadic people there.

80 AV – Becoming elderly and overcome by grief, Camara returned to the sea and became the Vassal of the Northern shores. Winters in the North would grow harsher from this.

91 AV – Crio flees the troubles occurring in the land of Scaraden and flees northward, where he comes into the care of Bela Drage and her sons.

93 AV – Crio builds the great lighthouse of Amoradrage, that looks out over the sea, where the volcano’s peak can still be seen beneath the waves. Using the stone of these cliffs, Crio also builds the great keep of Dragor.

94 AV – A graul called Karomin is born on the great continent.

95 AV – Crio marries and begins to have children.

102 AV – Bring Drage launches an offensive in the North, killing the last living son of Camara. Outraged by this Camara brings a massive storm down against the people of Dragor. The storm kills thousands as it slowly sweeps southwards. Fleeing with whoever they can, the people of Dragor travel southward. Leaving those who cannot travel behind, the people of Dragor ask those of Scaraden to come to their aid. Coming to the middle lands, with the storm of Camara in pursuit Crio feels a strength in the mountains. A ship is readied in Scaraden but rebel lords, fearing that the wrath of Camara would come on them, burn the fleet so no aid can come to those trapped in Dragor.
Finally coming to the land of Scaraden, Orna beckons Crio back to him. Crio leaves his family and came to the middle lands where Orna rose from the depths and fastened a chain between Crio and the earth. Together the rose the dividing mountains, trapping some of Camara’s essence within. Crio is aged beyond count and dies upon the high pass of the dividing mountains. The people of the middle lands settle the chambers of the dividing mountains. The people of Dragor returned and found their people saved. The power of Drage and Crio that went into the black keep, had kept out Camara’s storm. The alliance between the Minton’s of Crio and Dragor is formed.

118 AV – Karomin becomes a great mariner and captains fleets of the Graul.

124 AV – Karomin rescues a group of Therailma from the clutches of the wicked Graul of the great continent. Believing Karomin to be the enemy, Thera drowns the ship, knowing his people will be safe. Shocked to see that they attempt to rescue Karomin, he heeds the prayers of his people and lifts Karomin’s body from the waves but he has already passed. Begging Gadrika to spare him, Thera gives part of his power to Karomin. Gadrika hollows his soul and Orna makes his ship eternal. Karomin sails the southern seas for all eternity.

164 AV – The twins Krim and Agral are born in the kingdom of Kuratex. One is pure, with the power to grow life and sustain it in health. The other is sickly, born to heal pestilence from the world.

172 AV – Agral, jealous of the devotion shown to Krim, lashes out, putting Krim in a coma and killing the plants and animals around him. When Krim wakes up, he cures the pestilence caused by his brother. Krim is whisked away to Scaraden.

183 AV – Agral, now grown in might and power, is attacked by his guards. Waking, he kills the men before binding their souls to the tower. Agral enters Agraldin and takes up the power of death, becoming the Vassal of death. He flees and searches for his brother.

184 AV – Krim Marries.

185 AV – Krim’s wife gives birth to a son, Krun.

186 AV – Krim’s wife gives birth to a daughter, Mina.

187 AV – Agral comes to Krim’s tower and the brothers re-unite in love.

190 AV – Agral, bitter of his brothers love, tries to take his brothers wife, killing her in the act. Fearing for his children’s safety, Krim flees to the realm of Krunmelkin.

192 AV – Agral begins to raise the dead and becomes mighty lord in Scaraden.

195 AV – Agral sires many children, that begin to infect the houses of Scaraden

204 AV – While Krim waits, a messenger all in white arrives. Gadrika stands before Krim and begs him to do battle against Agral. Krim is given the cloak of Gadrika, which he uses as a standard to rally a great force. Krim’s

205 AV – Krim arrives in Scaraden and the armies flee before him. Agral sends out a pestilence and his army of wicked men and the two forces meet in battle. Krim and Agral’s powers fight eachother and when Krim has the greater strength, he shows the pure Ilma, Agral can be. Agral drives forward, killing Krim. The banner rips free and lays on Krim’s body. When Agral takes it, Krim is no more. The cloak flies to Krunmelkin, to the halls of Krun. Krun wants to ride out at once, but the ghostly form of Krim advises patience.

207 AV – Krun Marries.

209 AV – Mina Marries

221 AV – Krim advises Krun that the time is now. Krun and Mina march to do war on Agral. His guards abandon him and Krun arrives in Agral’s chamber. Krim arrives and pardon’s his brother before killing him and sending him into the service of Gadrika.

242 AV – Mina gives up her body and departs to Besan Gretan.

438 AV – Krun dies and enters the service of Gadrika.

439 AV – The first of the Ilma begin to develop powers.

This ends the time of the coming of the Vassal’s. The next section covers the Early years of the Ilma, up to the kingless times.
